Scenic Southern Express- 4 days- 3 nights

Scenic Southern Express (April to Oct, optional aurora tours available during aurora season)
Duration: 4 days | 3 nights

Transportation is included for all tours except flight to Yukon, which can be arranged at reasonable prices.

Day 1

Receive a warm welcome and transfer from the airport to our Yukon Home suite/your hotel. We will provide you with information on the area and then go on a tour of our beautiful Whitehorse city… some key sights on the city tour include: the S.S. Klondike, the Old Log Church, Whitehorse Visitors’ Center, the Log Skyscraper, the White Pass building, the Whitehorse Horse sculpture, and the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Center.

Optional aurora viewing in the evening (from April to early May… or mid Aug to Oct).

Day 2

After lunch, we’ll go on a 4 hour-long trip to Carcross. Along the way, we’ll visit a ghost town, beautiful Emerald Lake, the world’s smallest “desert”, oldest continuously-operated post office in Canada, White Pass And Yukon Route Railway Complex and other historical buildings in downtown Carcross.

Day 3

Spend the day on a day tour to Kluane National Park! Along the way, we will stop by a 100+ years old historical bridge, Pine Lake, the town of Haines Junction, Visitor’s Information, the Da Kų Culture Centre, Kathleen Lake and a native village.

Day 4

Take the day to explore and shop around downtown Whitehorse or book an optional tour for an extra fee:

a) a 2 hours scenic Extended Whitehorse Tour which includes the Whitehorse Fish Ladder, Whitehorse Dam, Schwatka Lake, Miles Canyon (seasonal), viewpoints overlooking downtown Whitehorse, and several other viewpoints along the way.

b) Yukon Wildlife Preserve tour

c) Yukon Brewing tour

We will send you to the airport in time for your flight home.
