We will embark on a half-day trip to historical and beautiful town of Carcross. Along the way, we’ll visit a ghost town, beautiful Emerald Lake, the world’s smallest “desert”, oldest continuously-operated post office in Canada, White Pass And Yukon Route Railway Complex and other historical buildings in downtown Carcross. This tour gives you the chance to explore some of the numerous trails in the Whitehorse area by snowmobile. We will start with an introduction to safe snowmobile riding and handling prior to departure. Then it’s off to the trails. If you desire we can stop to take in the scenery or snap some pictures. Snacks and refreshments will be served along the way. Our experienced guide can interpret animal tracks or tell exciting winter lore.
